Topec obtains VCA Petrochemistry certification

At the end of December 2008, Topec obtained Veiligheids Certificering Aannemers (VCA) Petrochemistry certification. Organisations that obtain VCA certification impose strict health, safety, welfare and environmental criteria. VCA Petrochemistry is the strictest certification of its kind.

We have already worked with safety procedures for many years, such as the safety passport and safety instructions. We have now also taken measures (workplace instructions and toolbox meetings) for the remaining points in order to prevent personal injury, material damage and hazardous situations.

Topec’s safety, health and environmental management system has been certified by KEMA. In addition to the certification of the SHE system, over 60 employees have passed their personal VCA (Safety Certification for Contractors) exam.
