Cubic
Modular panel system
Since 1991, Topec has been the Netherlands’ exclusive importer and distributor of the Danish high-quality Cubic modular system for low-voltage switch- and distribution boards up to 7,000 A. This system is based on a module size of 192 mm, allowing almost any desired panel dimension to be provided.
Cubic offers several appealing benefits:
- more versatile than any other system;
- easy to rearrange and/or choice of assembly;
- easy to modify;
- easy to adapt later on;
- entirely free choice of electrical components;
- tested in accordance with IEC 60439-1/EN 60439-1;
- certified by KEMA, ASTA, UL, DNV and GL;
- for internal segregation, choice of FORM 1 to FORM 4;
- time-saving assembly that significantly reduces delivery times for assembled panels;
- short delivery times.
The Cubic modular system offers the following options for panel assembly:
switch- and distribution boards, marine panels, MCC panels, complete (Draw-out) and/or semi-extensible drawer systems MD (Multi drawer), Multi Purpose Insert (MPI), control panels and desk systems.
Other Cubic products include stainless steel panels, 19” cabinets, flexible copper busbars (Cu-flex) and connections.
Areas of application:
- shipping and offshore industry;
- defence;
- electrical power stations;
- processing industry;
- petrochemical industry;
- building management systems;
- utilities.
CU-FLEX flexible copper connections:
Tested, flexible electrical connections from 125 A to 1440 A or higher (KEMA, UL and DNV, for example). This ready-to-use flexible busbar not only decreases assembly times, but also the amount of waste material and the number of necessary special tools. Thanks to a patented process, this flexible busbar has the properties of a copper rod.
CU-FLEX features a double insulating sleeve with solid copper connections on the ends with pre-punched holes, and is available in lengths of 160 mm to 1120 mm. It is made from woven copper wires, enabling short and unusual forms that minimise connection-related problems considerably.
